The structure of Mill Software enables us to effectively integrate with a client organisation to provide them with additional “bandwidth” and resources to complete a project. We are able to do this in three ways:
Clients who come to us for an independent review usually require us to audit the function of existing software through our testing services or provide an opinion on a development project or business problem.
The projects and technologies we work with are typically highly sensitive from both a commercial and an information security perspective. All of our standard contracts include a confidentially clause and we have internal protocols in place to protect our clients.
We provide a unique combination of expertise and services. Our capabilities encompass Embedded Linux Based Systems along with a wide range of languages, technologies, platforms, operating systems & frameworks including; Windows, Mac OS, Linux, iPhone, iPad, Web and various ARM based embedded devices.
The Mill Software fee structure utilizes a Capped Time & Materials model. This approach sets a price that a work package (each development stage) will not exceed.
Once the capped fee is set and agreed, Mill Software records all work done towards the work package in time sheets. At the end of the work package, the customer is only charged for the hours worked or the capped amount, which ever is lower.
Some areas of work that are difficult to quantify or where the amount of work is entirely unknown may be quoted as time and materials and not capped
